On 12 March 2026, we proudly opened the doors to our brand‑new Mt Gambier Client Hub and Day Options space, a vibrant and welcoming place designed to support people living with disability to learn, connect and find their possible.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, community members and supporters pop in throughout the day to explore the new space. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as visitors toured the rooms, met our team, and experienced firsthand how this new hub will create opportunities for meaningful engagement, learning and community connection.

The celebration officially began with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony led by our CEO alongside several of our clients, a fitting symbol of the collaborative spirit at the heart of Cara.

A special highlight of the event was a performance by Jack, one of our talented local clients, whose music brought joy and energy to the gathering. His performance was a beautiful reminder of why spaces like this matter: they empower individuals to express themselves, build confidence, and share their gifts with others.

The opening of the Mt Gambier Hub marks an exciting new chapter for our community in the Limestone Coast. We look forward to seeing this space become a lively centre of creativity, learning, independence and connection for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, your support made the day truly memorable.
