Welcome to Cara

We are one of South Australia’s largest disability service providers. We employ over 1000 staff members, and work alongside children and adults with disability across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Registered Charitable Organisation

Cara is a not-for-profit, or as we like to say, a profit-for-purpose. This means all money we raise goes back to supporting children and adults with disabilities in our Cara Community.

Why Cara?

We support people with disabilities all across South Australia including metropolitan Adelaide, Mount Barker, Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier, Kadina, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Port Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Support us

Cara is a charitable organisation you can trust, which is why we display the Registered Charity Tick. It’s a logo that registered charities can display to proudly show their charity status.

Services at Cara

Cara provides a wide range of services designed to help people with disabilities as well as their carers and the wider community. From assistance with living arrangements to ongoing support and specialist services, Cara is here to help you when it matters most.

Contact Us

We’re here for you. Whether it’s to inquire about Cara’s services or to provide us with feedback, you can reach us by phone, email or online and we’ll help you find what you’re looking for.

Donate today and make a difference

Every gift, no matter what the amount, goes a long way to help people with a disability live full and rewarding lives. Cara is a registered charitable organisation and our structure means 100 per cent of donations goes directly to supporting our customers – not to office administration or running costs.
